President’s rule in JK should be extended by six months, says Amit Shah

Home Minister of India Amit Shah, who concluded his two day visit to JK yesterday, proposed that the President’s rule in the state should be extended by 6 months. Shah also added that preparations to hold the Assembly elections by the end of the year are underway. The Union Home Minister also informed the Parliament that the situation in Kashmir is being constantly monitored and the construction of bunkers in border areas will be done within time limit set by the previous home minister Rajnath Singh
