The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Rajanikant Singh was elected as the new Deputy Speaker of 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly. Rajanikant was elected unanimously in the House today.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik proposed Angul MLA Rajanikant’s name for the post. The proposal was supported by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister BK Aarukh.
