Woman Picked Up By Cops From Near Naveen Niwas While Protesting Against BJD MP Anubhav

Barely a few days after filing police complaint against BJD’s Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty and his brother Anuprash Mohanty for allegedly abusing her physically and verbally, the woman journalist today staged a dharna in front of Naveen Niwas, the residence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, seeking his intervention. However, she was immediately picked up by the police personnel present there.
According to reports, as soon as the woman journalist, Sasmita Acharya of Cuttack started her dharna in front of the Naveen Niwas this morning, the police personnel present near the Naveen Niwas picked her up and took her to the Mahila police Station. Later she was taken by the police personnel to Cuttack.
“I will try to meet the CM tomorrow as well. Now I am going to Cuttack to meet Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty,” said Acharya while coming outside the Mahila police station.
