BJP national general secretary (organization) Northeast in-charge Ajay Jamwal arrived in Imphal on Wednesday amidst the internal power tussles within the party.
Even as some ministers and MLAs denied “dissidence” in the BJP, Jamwal is believed to have been sent by the Central BJP leaders to overlook the political crisis with the ruling party.
Some ministers, particularly, Th Bishwajit who is believed to be the leader of MLAs demanding leadership change had denied “the existence of dissidence” within the party.
Bishwajit who returned to Imphal from New Delhi on Tuesday had even blamed the media for creating confusion among the public while alleging that it was media creation.
Even though the ministers denied crisis in the BJP party, Jamwal who visited the state for the second time in this month hinted that internal crisis within the BJP is yet to be resolved.
