The SGPC has sought permission from the Sikkim authorities to take up the administration of a historic gurdwara located on the shore of the Gurudongmar Lake. The gurdwara has immense historic significance associated with Guru Nanak Dev.
A delegation comprising Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, SAD chief Sukhbir Badal, SGPC chief Gobind Singh Longowal and member advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka and DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa met Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang in New Delhi.
