The first conference of the National People’s Party (NPP) North East Coordination Committee (NPP-NECC) is scheduled to be held in Shillong on Saturday.
Though leaders did not divulge the main agenda for the conference, but understandably, the NPP which has been recognized as the national political party by the Election Commission of India (ECI), would resolve to further strengthen the party organization in various states of the Northeast as well as spread their wings in order to be able to make inroads in few states like West Bengal and tribal areas of some states.
