Nitin Gadkari meets RSS secretary in Nagpur, sure of NDA win

A day after exit polls predicted that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance will win and form the next government comfortably, there were a flurry of activity in Maharashtra.
RSS general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi met BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur to discuss the political situation. Joshi was accompanied by the party general secretary and West Bengal in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya.
Even though Gadkari has repeatedly clarified he is not eyeing the PM's post, his proximity to RSS works in his favour. Observers believe the meeting between Joshi and Gadkari indicated the latter will have a major say in the formation of the new government at the Centre if the exit polls come true on May 23.
