Kerala puts pressure on NH authority

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will float tenders for the national highway corridors where land acquisition had been completed to be developed into four/six lane carriageway .
The process will be taken up even as the State completes the remaining land acquisition.
This was conveyed by NHAI chairperson Nagendra Nath Sinha to Principal Secretary, Public Works, G. Kamalavardhana Rao at a meeting in Delhi on Monday.
The meeting was to seek clarification on the national highway projects in the State that remained in High Priority-II despite the NHAI’s May 9 directive.
