Comments made by supporters of Siddaramaiah taken as exception by A.H Vishwanath

A.H. Vishwanath, the state president of Janata Dal (Secular) has taken exception to the statements made by the supporters of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. "M.B. Patil, being the Home Minister, making such statements would send the wrong signal. It would provide fodder for the Opposition to spread canards about the stability of the coalition government after the polls," he said.
As per sources, Mr. Patil spoke to H.D. Kumaraswamy the Chief Minister and had clarified that he had expressed his desire to see Mr. Siddaramaiah in power only after the next Assembly election. Sources have also said that, Mr. Kumaraswamy has decided not to react to such statements till May 23. However, Mr. Kumaraswamy is said to have been upset as some of the Congress leaders are pitching for Siddaramaiah as Chief Minister after the Lok Sabha polls.
