Mumbai Congress reaches out to Priyanka Gandhi to counter PM Modi's rally

While the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) plans to organise Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally a few days before Mumbai polls, the Congress Party unit in the city is trying hard to get Priyanka Gandhi to hold rallies to counter PM Modi's impact.
Naseem Khan, vice president of Maharashtra Congress and the ex-minister told DNA that they had already given the proposal to All India Congress Committee (AICC) for the road show of Priyanka Gandhi in Mumbai.
"We have not yet received the final dates. We wish to have the road show of Priyanka Gandhi in all six Lok Sabha constituencies. She is currently tied up with her responsibility in Uttar Pradesh but we are confident to get her in Mumbai," said Khan.
