Somu Veerraju slams Naidu for remarks against Modi

Bharatiya Janata Party State vice-president and MLC Somu Veerraju has warned Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu against dragging the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother and making any remarks on Mr. Modi’s family.
In a harsh tone at a press conference here on Wednesday, the BJP MLC asked Mr. Naidu to mind his tongue.
Mr. Somu Veerraju, who was in Anantapur to participate in electioneering in Tadipatri constituency, alleged the TDP had diverted Rs. 200 crore sanctioned for Anantapur district for four years as a special development fund for backward districts in Andhra Pradesh.
With no utilisation certificate submitted, the last instalment was stopped, he said and asked the TDP government to show what it had done to mitigate the sufferings of the people in this backward drought-prone district.
