The Congress in Arunachal Pradesh, finding it tough to find ‘bankable’ names, is expected to come out with its first list of candidates on Saturday afternoon. The second list would be announced on Sunday, 24 hours before the window for the filing of nomination papers closes.
“We are declaring candidates for 53 seats today (Saturday) and the remaining seven tomorrow (Sunday). We took time to zero in on candidates who people can trust,” State Congress president Takam Sanjoy told .
