Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh launched the State level Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) at Sati Khongnang, Bengoon, Mayang Imphal West district on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the essence of doing politics is not a weapon to inject venom to others in the name of religion, caste, creed etc, but to serve the people to improve their lives. “Within such short period, the government has initiated various human oriented mission and people centric schemes for the welfare of the people,” he added. Stating that the government has initiated various schemes for the welfare of the people, the Biren Singh said that the present government is committed to deliver human service to the people. “We need inclusive development so as to bring peace and harmony in the State.” He mentioned that there should be emotional integration among the communities.
