Senior state BJP members quit party

In a setback for the State BJP unit, 11 senior BJP members including former minister TA Ngullie have quit the party accusing BJP unit president, Temjen Imna Along and secretary (org) Ananta Mishra of functioning in an “authoritarian attitude”.
The members who have quit the party included- former minister and former chairman of political affairs committee TA Ngullie, former vice president of state minority cell Tutiur Rehman Tapadar, former state BJP mahila president Sanuo Ngullie, former state BJP mahila vice president Akhrieno Jamir, former secretaries state BJP mahila-- Phyobeni Ezung and Rani Tapadar, former state mahila executive members- Nemla Chang, Bokali Kiho, Vungthunglo Ngullie and Vono Ngullie and former Dimapur district BJP mahila secretary Setsala Phom.
The members alleged that Imna Along and Mishra have left the stet BJP party in total disarray, ignoring and sidelining all the senior party cadres who had struggled in building up the party from scratch to power.
