The Judicial First Class Magistrate (JFCM) Court, Ambalappuzha, on Tuesday issued summons to Public Works Minister G. Sudhakaran directing him to appear before the court in a case pertaining to insulting a woman.
The court accepted a protest complaint filed by Usha Sali, a former member of the Minister's staff, alleging that Mr. Sudhakaran verbally insulted her and her family during a public function held at Thottappally on February 28, 2016. “The court has asked the Minister to appear before it on March 29,” said, Anu G. Thottappally, counsellor for the petitioner.
