Sanjay Bhatia is a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Haryana. He is currently an elected Member of Parliament from Karnal constituency of Haryana in 2019 Lok sabha polls and State general secretary at Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Haryana and former chairman, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board. Previously in 2014 Bhatia has replaced BJP’s ‘heavyweight’ sitting Karnal MP Ashwini Kumar, who riding on Narendra Modi wave had defeated the Congress candidate by 3,60,147 votes. In his student life Mr. Bhatia was associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He became Mandal general secretary (1987), Mandal President (1989), District general secretary, District President and State general secretary (1998) at Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). In 2001, he was chosen as chairman, Municipal council. He became Mandal President, District general secretary and then District President and then chosen as State Convener in Local body Cell at Bharatiya Janata Party. He was also selected as the State Executive Member at Kisan Morcha, BJP.
